Terms of Use
Last updated 28 October 2026
1Agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Type Twenty Three LLC (“we”, “us”), the maker of Pulsatio. They are between you and us only, not Apple. By downloading or using Pulsatio you agree to them. Your use of the App Store is also governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
2Your license
We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use Pulsatio on any Apple-branded Mac that you own or control, as the App Store's Usage Rules allow, including Family Sharing. You may not copy, modify, rent, sell or redistribute the app, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows. We keep all rights in Pulsatio, including its name, design and code.
3Apple Music and your music
Playing the Apple Music catalog needs your own Apple Music subscription, which is separate from Pulsatio and governed by Apple's terms. Music, artwork, videos and other content belong to their owners. Pulsatio gives you a way to enjoy them; it does not give you any right to them. For music files you add yourself, you are responsible for having the right to play them.
4Subscription and free trial
Some features need a Pulsatio subscription, billed monthly or yearly to your Apple Account. New subscribers can start with a 14-day free trial. After the trial, and at the end of each period, the subscription renews automatically at the price shown in the app unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple Account's subscription settings. Canceling stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms.
5AI features
Pulse Search, Pulsatio Play (Smart Playlists), Mood Mix, album cover search and a few written notes in the app use AI services to answer questions and suggest music. Answers and suggestions can be wrong, incomplete or not to your taste, and they do not reflect our views. To keep the service available for everyone, these features have fair-use limits, which the app shows when you reach them. We may change or end these features.
6Other services and content
Pulsatio shows information from other services, such as artist details from MusicBrainz, Wikidata and Wikipedia, and images from fanart.tv. We do not control those services or guarantee what they provide. Links to other websites are for your convenience.
7Using Pulsatio fairly
Please do not use Pulsatio to break the law or anyone's rights, to get around its limits or protections, or to put excessive load on the services it uses.
8Privacy
How Pulsatio handles your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
9Support
We, not Apple, are responsible for maintaining and supporting Pulsatio. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it. For help, write to support@pulsatiomusic.com.
10Warranty
Pulsatio is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. If Pulsatio fails to meet a warranty that the law does give you, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the fullest extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Pulsatio, and any other claims, losses or costs from a failure to meet a warranty are our responsibility under these terms.
11Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Type Twenty Three LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Pulsatio. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid for Pulsatio in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
12Claims about Pulsatio
We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims by you or anyone else about Pulsatio or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
13Intellectual property claims
If anyone claims that Pulsatio or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
14Legal compliance
You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
15Apple as third-party beneficiary
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce them against you.
16Ending these terms
You can stop using Pulsatio at any time by deleting it. If you seriously breach these terms, your license ends. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as warranty, liability and governing law, continue after that.
17Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring it there.
18Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new date. If you keep using Pulsatio after a change, the updated terms apply.
